Joyful Sound Gospel Choir is a community choir founded in 2023 with members from Orangeville and surrounding area. Believing in the power of gospel music to bring people together and into the presence of God, musical director, Hannah Campbell, directs the choir (SATB) along with a 3-5 piece band that includes keyboards, electric guitar, bass and drums.

 

Providing an opportunity for members to learn music by ear and perform fully engaged in the music is one of the reasons there is so much joy in singing gospel music. Members come from a variety of musical and denominational backgrounds including some with music degrees and others who just love to sing.  JSGC sings a variety of traditional and contemporary gospel music including spirituals and southern gospel.
